(EARC) is a non-profit private organization dedicated to providing a full range of health and social services to elderly and where appropriate, others in need of health care services to enable them live a quality and enriched life in the community. The centre was established in honour of Papa Emmanuel and Mama Ebun Alayande, who in their lifetime were devoted Christians and very committed to humanitarian services.

EARC- honours, and draws inspiration from Papa and Mama Alayande ethical and spiritual virtues of godliness, kind-heartedness, and their uncompromising belief in honouring the dignity of people, regardless of their ethnicity, language, education, religion, culture, social or political class.

Mama Ebun Alayande died of complications from heart disease and diabetes. Preserving their legacies for many generations to come and keeping their spirit and memory alive compelled us to open a 16 bed health facility in the city of Ibadan; their home town, with the aim of improving the life of those around us and to remind ourselves that everyone has the potential to be a catalyst for the change we want to see.

Our Mission is derived from integrated health care, education - programmes and social services.

EARC is empowered to treat, manage and prevent health related issues among the elderly individuals. This health care centre will serve as a foundation will work towards making the fullest possible recovery and gain lasting stability.

We will achieve this mission by:

  • Offering comprehensive and patient-centred services to meet the specific needs of our patients
  • Effectively eliminating obstacles to health care services through accessible, inter-professional, community and family health care provisions
  • Treating all patients equally with a professional and caring attitude
